Meet Our Founding Member Miss Catherosette Meas

Rosette, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is a PhD candidate at NYU Tandon School of Engineering specializing in synthetic biology and mouse genome engineering. Her interest in engineered biological systems began through international bioengineering competitions in high school and during her undergraduate studies at the University of La Verne, where her teams earned bronze and silver medals for projects involving Moringa-based biodiesel and single-chain insulin synthesis. With five years of experience mentoring high school and undergraduate students, she aims to bring her research and mentorship skills back to Cambodia to help foster more hands-on scientific learning and research in local classrooms.
