I’m an early- to mid-career civil engineer based in Jacksonville, Florida, and a proud graduate of the University of North Florida. My educational journey also includes studying at Burapha University, ISPP (formerly IFL), and the RUPP, which shaped my global perspective and adaptability. I’ve always stayed active beyond academics through volunteering, sports, leadership roles, competitions, and community involvement. I’m passionate about continuous learning, civil engineering industry, and exchanging practical advice on career growth and personal development. I’m excited to mentor and would love to support you as you navigate your path in civil engineering or wherever your interests lead.

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, studying how brain circuits support learning and skilled movement. My training spans systems neuroscience as well as molecular and synthetic biology, giving me a broad perspective on how different levels of biology connect. Having navigated competitive research programs and national fellowships in the U.S., I understand the challenges and opportunities of pursuing advanced training in STEM. I’m passionate about helping students build clarity and confidence in their paths. I mentor middle school through post-baccalaureate trainees in exploring research, preparing for graduate school and fellowships, strengthening productivity and time management, and developing resilience in rigorous environments. I’m especially committed to uplifting Khmer students in STEM and supporting the next generation as they pursue their academic goals.

I am a doctoral researcher and a mechanical engineer with a passion for advance engineering and my major research topics are surface treatment, machining tools designed, machine learning, data mining, and computational analysis.

I was born in Cambodia in 1972 and survived the Khmer Rouge regime. In 1984, I emigrated to the United States and later attended the International Baccalaureate Program at St. Petersburg High School, Florida. I earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I completed postdoctoral research under Prof. Peter G. Schultz at UC Berkeley and the Scripps Research Institute. Currently, I am a Professor of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University. A passionate advocate for Khmer STEM, I maintain a deep love for his people and cultural heritage.

As a scholar who studies bachelor of science in Environmental Engineering, I am glad to be a mentor for future scholars, especially those who want to study in Hungary, and am eager to learn from each other to achieve our shared goals in Khmer STEM Global Network.

I am an active fourth-year university student. I am studying Nuclear Power Engineering and Thermal Physics, and I achieve excellent grades in this program.

I am a nanomaterial expertise. I also work on chemistry and clean energy related research including hydrogen and solar energy. If you are interested in these fields, please come to me!

I’m currently pursuing research in AI, IoT, and network systems, but I see myself as a fellow learner just as much as a mentor. I enjoy talking with students at any stage, whether high school, bachelor, or master, about research directions, thesis ideas, and the journey of pursuing higher degrees. My passion is in exploring academic research, but I believe growth comes from sharing perspectives and learning from each other. Sometimes I guide, sometimes I learn, and that balance keeps things exciting. I try to keep things positive and relaxed, while still being serious about building knowledge and curiosity together.

Hi! I’m a junior studying Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, and I genuinely enjoy helping student figures out their next steps. I’ve gone through the process of applying for university, internships, and leadership roles myself, so I understand how overwhelming it can feel. My goal is to share honest advice, practical tips, and encouragement to help you feel more confident in your journey!

I am an Associate R&D Engineer based in South Korea with a background in Electrical/ Electronic & Information engineering, currently working in advanced antenna and RF system design. Alongside my engineering career, I support students and young professionals who aspire to study (Ms/PhD) and build their careers in Korea.

I am a clinical research assistant with a background in Biochemistry, Molecular biology and Public Health, currently working in clinical trials focused on cancer research. Through mentorship, I hope to support students who are interested in public health, clinical research, and pursuing scholarship opportunities to study abroad (Singapore & the U.S).

I am an integrated Master’s and Ph.D. candidate in Electronic Engineering in South Korea, specializing in microwave circuit design and AI-assisted engineering. My research focuses on RF/microwave systems, power amplifiers, and machine learning for circuit modeling and optimization. As a mentor, I would like to support students in research planning, academic writing, graduate school preparation, and technical communication.
