Who We Are

We are a global family rooted in shared purpose and cultural pride. Based in the U.S. and united by our Khmer heritage, we bring together scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians from around the globe.

Here, we celebrate innovation, foster education, and spark discovery. Whether you're a student, a professional, or simply curious, you are welcome here. Join us in shaping a future that honors our past and builds toward something greater together under one guiding theme: One Forum, One Family, One People.

Our community does not participate in discussions involving political issues, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. Instead, we focus on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all Khmer people. Whether in Cambodia or abroad, we see each other as part of one extended family—our brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles—whom we respect, support, and cherish.

To our Khmer family around the world: we exist because of you, and we dare to dream because of you. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment to peace and prosperity for all give this community its purpose and strength. United by hope and shared purpose, we have the power to achieve what once seemed impossible.

Why You Should Enter the STEM Fields!

STEM fields offer high-paying, high-demand careers that are growing rapidly worldwide. For Cambodians, pursuing STEM means economic opportunity, innovation, and national development. By building expertise in science and technology, the next generation can strengthen Cambodia’s future—advancing prosperity, resilience, and lasting peace through knowledge and shared progress.

Preparation for the Artemis II Launch Mission to Take Place in Early 2026

Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first human lunar mission since Apollo. Scheduled for early 2026, it will send four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft, launched by the Space Launch System rocket. The crew will travel around the Moon and return to Earth, testing life-support, navigation, and deep-space systems. The mission paves the way for Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts on the lunar surface and support long-term exploration.

How an Observation Made by a Japanese Researcher, Prof. Osamu Shimomura, in 1962 About Jellyfish Glowing in the Dark Led to a Major Biomedical Research Breakthrough and a Nobel Prize

Scientific discovery often begins not in a laboratory, but in quiet moments of wonder — in the decision to look closely at the natural world and to ask simple, courageous questions. Why is this beautiful? How does it work? What unseen processes unfold at the molecular level? And how might this small mystery reshape medicine or transform the way we live?

Curiosity is the spark that awakens the heart. Passion gives it warmth. Determination gives it flight. Together, they turn fragile questions into blazing horizons.

What Is the Most Important Ingredient for Success? Is It Intelligence? The Answer Is No!

What makes people like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, and Sergey Brin so successful in their careers? It’s not their looks or intelligence. Intelligence helps, but it is not the most important ingredient. It is grit—passion and determination sustained over the long haul. In other words, find something in life that you love and are passionate about, pursue it with all your might, and never give up. If you get knocked down, get back up—again and again. This applies not only to your career, but also to your life—your family, your friends, and those who are dear to you.

How Condensed Milk is Made

Many of us love condensed milk, whether in coffee or with freshly baked bread. It is sweet, aromatic, and delicious. But do you know who created it and why? Although it is commonly used in desserts, coffee, and baking, many people do not know that condensed milk was originally developed in the 19th century as a way to store milk safely without refrigeration. Its long shelf life made it especially valuable during wars and long journeys. Over time, it became popular worldwide and is now a key ingredient in many traditional dishes and sweets across different cultures.

Modern Agricultural Machines

Modern agricultural machines play a crucial role in increasing the efficiency and productivity of farming. Equipment such as tractors, combine harvesters, seed drills, and irrigation systems help farmers perform tasks like planting, cultivating, and harvesting more quickly and accurately. Many modern machines also use advanced technologies such as GPS guidance, sensors, and automation, allowing farmers to monitor crops, reduce waste, and optimize the use of resources like water and fertilizers. As a result, agricultural machinery helps farmers produce more food while saving time and labor.

Weekly Research Seminar Series

The seminar series is designed to bring us together on a regular basis to explore the latest research and ideas emerging across our fields of interest. Each week, we will host one or two seminars that highlight new findings, innovative approaches, and ongoing work from members of our community.

Beyond sharing research, this series is also about building connections. Each speaker will begin with a brief introduction to their personal and educational background, giving us the opportunity to better understand one another’s journeys, perspectives, and expertise. This will be followed by a presentation of their current work and contributions.

To keep the sessions focused and engaging, each presentation will be approximately 15 minutes long, followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer discussion. We encourage active participation, thoughtful questions, and open dialogue to make the most of these interactions.

We hope this seminar series will not only expand our knowledge, but also strengthen our community and spark future collaborations.
