Khmer STEM Global Network: Lecture Series

This 10-part lecture series explores the key drivers of success and achievement. This 10-part lecture series explores the key drivers of success and achievement. Through the lives and personal stories of some of the most successful individuals of our era, we will examine the defining traits that shaped their journeys, as well as the trials, setbacks, and challenges they faced along the way. Most importantly, we will ask whether these qualities are innate—or whether they can be learned, developed, and strengthened within each of us. Part 1 takes place this Saturday at 11AM EST (10PM Cambodia Time). We will examine the concept of success from a historical perspective, with a particular focus on the work of psychologist Angela Duckworth and her concept of GRIT. We will explore what grit is, how it contributes to success and achievement, and, most importantly, whether it is an innate quality or something that can be learned, developed, and strengthened over time.
