Sam is a Khmer physics graduate from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, currently teaching physics to secondary and high school students in English programs. With academic interests in nuclear applications, radiation protection, and computational physics, they are passionate about STEM education, international collaboration, and mentoring young Khmer students. They aspire to pursue further studies abroad and contribute to strengthening STEM capacity in Cambodia.

Lida Sorn
Lida Sorn is Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Paragon International University. He holds a Master of Engineering from Tokyo Tech, where he researched precast concrete beam behavior with industry partner Tokyo Tekko. His interests include concrete and steel technology, structural design, and construction innovation. He actively seeks collaboration on research and STEM projects.

Visai Hoeun
Visai, a senior cybersecurity student at the American University of Phnom Penh, hails from Kandal Province, Cambodia. A full scholarship recipient, he completed a one-year cybersecurity exchange program in South Korea in 2025. Passionate about digital security, Visai aims to raise cybersecurity awareness in Cambodia and inspire future generations through the KHMER STEM community.

Kongnov Chit
Chit Kongnov was born in Siem Reap and currently lives in Phnom Penh. She graduated from E2STEM Education and is now a third-year biology student at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Passionate about becoming a laboratory technician, she is especially interested in virology. She seeks mentorship for her thesis research and hopes to gain hands-on experience through a laboratory internship. In the future, she plans to pursue a fully funded Master’s and PhD in France or Australia. Her goal is to contribute to scientific innovation and technological development in her home country.

Sreynik Nhek
Sreynik is a medical entomology researcher from Cambodia currently working with the
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) International Centers of Excellence
for Research (ICER) program in Phnom Penh. Her work focuses on dengue virus transmission and
the vector competence of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, including experimental infection models and mosquito–virus interaction studies. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications on dengue virus transmission and mosquito–virus interactions. Sreynik is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Epidemiology at the National Institute of Public Health and is interested in advancing research on mosquito-borne diseases and global health.
