Phalla Try, originally from a farming family in Kampong Cham, Cambodia, holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Food Biotechnology at Kyungpook National University, South Korea. Her research centers on bioactive food compounds, intestinal health, and cellular responses to oxidative stress. Passionate about real-world impact, Phalla is dedicated to promoting STEM education among rural Cambodian students and inspiring them to pursue scientific research and international academic opportunities.

Thara Son
Thara Son, originally from Kampot Province, Cambodia, earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (2022) and his M.S. from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea (2024). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same university, where he previously worked as a research assistant in the Digital Communication System Lab. His research focuses on physical-layer security for coded MIMO schemes and satellite communication systems, reflecting his deep interest in secure, advanced wireless technologies.

Sokuntepy Chriv
Sokuntepy Chriv is a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea. She conducts research in the Machine Learning and Vision Laboratory, with a focus on biomedical image captioning, multimodal learning, and reinforcement learning for vision-language models. Driven by a passion for education and impact, she aspires to become a lecturer and plans to return to Cambodia to support students in learning artificial intelligence and engaging in research.

Gachleap Heng
Gachleap HENG, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, studied biochemistry at RUPP and earned a Master’s in environmental engineering from GIST, South Korea, in 2026. Her research focuses on biochemistry, molecular biology, and using anaerobic microorganisms for bioremediation. She is now a lecturer and researcher in Environmental Engineering at RUPP, dedicated to advancing STEM education in Cambodia through hands-on, research-based learning.

Sieb Chanchamnan
Sieb Chanchamnan is a Ph.D. student in Energy Storage and Conversion Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. His research focuses on advanced surface engineering, machining design, and precision systems. Deeply committed to supporting Khmer students in STEM, he is passionate about connecting with and uplifting the global Khmer STEM community. Thorng Palaystint
Thorng Palaystint is a Khmer student pursuing an integrated master’s–Ph.D. in electronic engineering at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. A member of the Microwave Circuits Design Lab, his research focuses on RF/microwave circuit design—including power amplifiers, filters, and broadband systems—as well as AI-powered modeling for high-frequency applications. Naranut Sreang, from Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia, holds a Master’s in Electrical and Information Engineering from SeoulTech and a Bachelor’s in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering from RUPP. Based in Seoul, he works as a Research Engineer specializing in RF and antenna design for wireless power transfer and satellite communications. Vitou That earned a B.S. in Information Technology in 2023 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Chung-Ang University’s School of Intelligent Energy Industry Convergence in Seoul, South Korea. His research centers on wireless network performance optimization, machine learning, and semantic communication, with several SCIE-indexed publications in these fields.
