Weekly Research Seminar

We warmly invite you to join our Weekly Research Seminar Series, where science comes alive through fascinating discoveries and engaging conversations. This week, we explore “The History and Science of Taste”—from how molecules interact with taste receptors to create the sensations of sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami, to how our brains transform those signals into the foods we love—or avoid. We will also explore an exciting question: Can we use chemistry and molecular science to modify taste perception, making healthier foods taste better or transforming flavors to give us more of what we love? Join us for a fun and accessible journey into the molecular science behind one of life’s greatest pleasures: taste!

Notice that this seminar was scheduled for last month, but it was cancelled due to technical issues. But now it is back!
